Interview with Professor Michael Steger

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing one of the work leading experts on meaning and purpose.

Professor Michael Steger is the Founder and Director of the Center for Meaning and Purpose and Professor of Psychology at Colorado State University.

The interview focused on how do we better handle this COVID-19 situation. Among other things we discuss:

  • Why the depression rates of people who went through the Spanish flu and the Great Depression was zero;

  • How to tolerate discomfort;

  • How to really find Meaning & Purpose;

  • Where we go wrong when trying to find purpose;

  • Find things that make life meaningful.
